Value for Money:

Vivo V7+ has a 5.99 inch 18: 9 ratio infinite display with HD resolution. The display has a 2.5D curved edge Gorilla Glass covering, which looks good. The phone also gets 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage which is good.

The device has 3225 mAh long lasting battery. It lasts a little over a day with regular use. In my video loop test, it managed to get about 10 hours and 30 minutes, which is good.

Vivo has updated its custom fork of Android, Funtouch OS, to version 3.2 and it is now based of Android 7.1.2.

The Vivo V series is all about that front camera, and the company has bumped it up with a 24 megapixel camera. The aperture is f/2.0 and you get a bunch of beauty modes for selfies and even for video calls. The quality of selfies is pretty good in most lighting conditions. The sensor picks up good amount of details although skin tones are not too accurate. So, the front camera is not looks like 24 megapixel compared to other phones.

The rear 16 megapixel camera supports PDAF. It is also not too much satisfied as compared to other smartphone brands. In low light condition the pictures has becomes little bit of noise.

The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, which uses eight ARM cortex A53 CPU cores. Performance is slightly better than rest of the 400 series, but not good in its price range. It lags, when playing high graphics games like Asphalt 8. It also heated on the heavy usage.

Overall, general performance on the device is pretty good. But, after seeing its price of Rs. 21990, I think it is very much overpriced as compared with its performance. And there are much better option available in the market in this price range.

Pros - Infinite display - Long lasting battery - Good front camera.

Cons - Average rear camera - Weak processor - Lagging and heating problem - Very much overpriced.
