I wanted to purchase a Jet airways ticket to Bangalore from Delhi through via.com portal(ref no. FMNOXGMVCB2). I deliberately picked up Jet Airways(9W-7125 & 9W 7120) and NOT Jetkonnect. However, when I booked and got the ticket I found it to be Jetkonnect!
If I wanted to book an LCC I could have very well purchased it myself, why am I being forced to buy a ticket through unfair means! And now if I wish to reschedule, I would again need to pay money!
This is not fair and completely unprofessional! The website had clear demarcations including logo of the two different carriers? It is like fooling people into buying a TV and giving a radio instead? I have written to them but there has been no response. If this is the way they want to treat their customers then so be it. It was my mistake to try out this portal as I normally buy it from Makemytrip or Goibibo and I thank my stars that I did not purchase hotel and or international flight tickets from this site!
I did contact Jet Airways citing my displeasure but they coolly said that it is the site's responsibility to share proper info with the buyers. I would urge even the airline companies to disengage from such sites who do not follow good economic practices!
