Even after hearing a lot of good things about Van Heusen shirts , I never bothered to buy one until 1995 mainly because of the high price. I bought my first Van Heusen shirt in 1995 because of the good texture and I could not resist. But later on I have realized that I have bought a best brand. I used to really like it, it never used to get wrinkles.
In between by mistake the black ink of inkjet printer spilled on the shirt and made a small black spot , I was really worried because I can not use it any more. But still I started wearing the shirt for rough use. To my surprise the spot has totally disappeared gradually after several wash and use.
The second incident is it got light color spots all over the shirt in washing machine by other colored cloths. But that also disappeared gradually and shirt is strong and good condition. Till now after 8 years not even a single button or stitching has gone inspite of rough handling. I really admire this brand and always make a point to buy Van Heusen shirts. You get more than you pay for this shirt.
