Vaishno devi, one of the holiest pilgrimage spots for hindus. The mata temple temple better known as the ''darbar'' is open 24*7 for pilgrims. A 14 kms trek, go walking, by a horse, a 'palki' or a chopper. Pilgrims walking, chanting ''jai mata di'' all throughout. Beautiful scenery around, thousands of pilgrims, its a pilgrimage worth visiting. 365 days a year this is one place where you are never alone, you seem to know everyone around you. Go ahead and visit patni top or kashmir after that. Mata fulfills wishes and makes the trip a memorable one. A holy trip, but a trip no one can forget, a the walk up 14 kms, the ardhkuwari, hathi matha. A place worth visiting, can be a pleasure and a holy trip. Have seen all kinds of people visiting the mata durbar...crippled and healthy...young and old....one and all. Visit it by rail, road or air. Aged or young. this is one place where everyone comes with pure heart and goes back with peace in mind. JAI MATA DI
