This is my favorite place, as it gives me lot of peace and spiritual values.
Its located in Jammu district of state of Jammu and Kashmir.
It is situated on a mountain with a lot of historical and mythological values.
We can reach jammu by tain or by Air or by Bus very easily and thereafter we can take a private taxi or cab or bus to reach KATRA to start a journey from that place.
The mountains surrounding this place is full of natural beauty and during winters they are snow covered.
Hotels and other accomodation modes are easy to get at ground levels, and at main location or temple, better you get a pre booking, there you can find dharamshala's.
Lot of tourists from different part of the country travel here all through the year, so, this place is always full of tourists and on the way towards temple you can find lot of shops, so its a lively area too and very much safe.
