This is my experience with the person called Arun.
I would not recommend this travel agency for any kind of tour experience. With much disappointment, I am writing this review on behalf of my mother. It was her dream to visit the Andaman Islands and with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm, she and her friends( Total 16 friends)booked the trip with'Ur trip Advisor' in the year 2021.I understand that due to Covid the trip got cancelled later. As part of the tour package, she paid them 2.52 lakhs and an assurance was given to her that in case of any cancellation, they would refund the entire amount.
It's been more than 2 years, and there is no sign of Andaman travel and finally they cancelled the trip on 17/12/2022. They have given 100(hundred) rupees to verify the transaction( Out of 2.52 lakhs). From that day there is any sign of a refund yet. She is been given fake promises of refund. Whenever we ask for a refund, they are beating around the bush; stating silly reasons like technical errors and blaming the bank.They keep saying that the money would be deposited/refunded would happen today or tomorrow(like Ganapthi's promise).
The below-highlighted are some of the updates that has received from them:January 6th, 2023- “Checked the same with the bank officials and confirmed the transaction failed due to some technical error in the e-net process. The debited amount is also credited back to our account as on date 05-01-2023(Confirmed the same with the accounts team). Now the issue has been resolved, and we will initiate the same by eod.”January 10th, 2023-“Ma'am yesterday I have added the payment let me reach I will send you.”This is the daily scene, she gets such messages every day when we ask for a refund.The company is making us run behind in this refund issue since 2022. Precisely from December 17th 2022. Is this how you run your company? Cheating people and looting their money. In short each and every day they will tell you will get the refund and next day old citizen need to go to bank catching an auto to verify amount is credited or not and came back. This is happening from Dec 17th 2022 onwards till today.
I feel so disappointed with the firm and the team Mr Rupesh K Reddy(CEO) and the manager Mr. Arun. This type of response from them blew my mind. She is a senior citizen and making her run behind in this way is a big disrespect to the other citizens of our country.This is highly ridiculous. Let me make it very clear to you that if my money is not refunded at the earliest, then I will surely lodge a consumer court complaint against your firm.
Whoever is booking with urtripadvisor please do due diligence before doing the booking. Else you need to hire a "urtrapadvisor" to help you to get out from the trap you fell into.
You can see lot of paid 5 reviews just popped up after penning down my experience.(between 11/Jan/2023 and 12/Jan/2023) Suddenly there is lot of people using their Andaman travel services and reviewing, even though I didn't mentioned in my yesterday's review, its about my mother's Andaman trip. Strange! Their strategy is to put lot of fake reviews against a single honest review. you can see the time lines of those reviews and mine.
