Tried to cancel an order within a few seconds of placing the order by mistake, the order was accepted by the restaurant after 2 mins of wait time the below given instructions for canceling an order are utterly useless and misleading.
tap "Cancel Order" in the order tracking screen(best of luck finding the cancel order option its just not there) . If you would like to cancel an order AFTER an order has been accepted by a restaurant, you will need to call our support team(tried canceling with a few seconds first no cancel order option displayed and secondly there is no support team, the uber eats help number connects you to an IVR that instructs you to cancel through the app WOW! kudos to the developers for making such a shitty loop)
Lastly and the worst of all. The poor delivery boy told me that the cancelled amount will be coming out of his pocket, which is a very unfair.
