When I was at Guwahati in the recent year, I have downloaded Uber Cabs App from the google play store and I used to book Uber Cabs and it was an excellent experience.
Before Uber Cabs Service at Guwahati :
During the year 2005 to 2008, there was no Uber Cabs service at Guwahati and during this tenure I was doing my Graduation at there. At that time I was using City bus and Auto rickshaw only for the means of travelling and there were many issues regarding crowded at city bus and high fare of hiring Auto rickshaw and bargaining of fare was also a major problem.
After Uber Cabs Service at Guwahati :
In the recent year, I was at Guwahati for few days. During this period, I was using Uber Cabs App for booking cabs and that experience was excellent. Booking of cabs was done only in few minutes and I didn't wait for too long to catch it. Before booking cabs I knew the exact fare and I didn't need to bargain the fare as it was reasonable. There was also offer in fare for the first time booking.
This was my personal experience about Uber Cabs service. But, in my state i.e. Manipur Uber Cabs service is not availabe yet. So, I wish this cabs service to be available soon in my state also.
