Twitter is the fastest online way to search the real-time local and world news. Used worldwide by everyone including professionals from various backgrounds to get connected with each other, it has more pros than cons.
Pros: I like Twitter more as social media platform because it is a text-leaning platform making us more accessible and quick to comprehend diverse pieces of information. Also, it is the least censored by governments. Elon Musk, world's richest is planning to buy it realising its potential.
Cons: Since it reflects the real world virtually, It sometimes becomes toxic if the contents are not filtered properly. Also, addictive.
Overall:
I think in future it will dominate the news media ecosystem completely.
