TVS product strategy will have one hybrid two-wheeler to be called Qube. The motorcycle will be powered by two sources; one combustible 100cc petrol engine and one electric motor to support the petrol engine.
The rider will have option to select from the different modes available in the vehicle.The hybrid system draws power from the lithium ion batteries which get charged from the energy generated when brakes are applied. The battery powered motor take over the bike whenever required. The scooter will also have the option of all electric motor system which can be used for short trips.
The bike will have the option of hybrid economy and hybrid power mode. In power mode both the power sources will work together to provide better power while in the economy mode, one of the motor will work to save energy and increase the efficiency of the scooter.
