I own this bike since July 1st 2008. Thought it is a great bike...but now I am regretting.I wanted a bike with a trendy look & good mileage .The main defect of this bike is that it doesnt have Reserve & there is air block all the time.
Also it has problems while starting in the morning hours as the bike stays ideal overnite & morning while starting there is a hell lot of problem.The self dont respond neither the kick start.You need to kick at least 6-10times.It really is such an embrassment .My neighbours always keep wondering what is wrong with a brand new bike.Also if the bike is Idle for 3-4hrs it wont start.
When I complained the same during the bike service to the TVS guys they are really not bothered. And they are not technically good & each time I give my bike for servicing there is a sharp drop in the mileage.It comes to 40-45 .I am forced to go back to my regular mechanic for Tuning. My suggestion is please DONOT CHOOSE TVS FLAME.
