I was going through many dilemmas while buying my first bike. Pulsar seemed a very good choice but its too common and not a head turner these days, and I wanted power withing 80K. well. TVS APACHE RTR 160 2013 model can give you all the joy you can expect from ur ride.. stars: 1.Amazing feel of power, you wont ever enjoy driving any other 150 cc bike like FAZER FZ etc.
Its awesome looks. specially its led parking lights resembling a bulls eyes. my roommate took RTR 180 WHITE and I agree that's the best looking bike in 180 cc range. I even experienced people checking out my bike and giving complements while standing at signals.
Being a 160 cc bike it can give you above 50 mileage if you drive nicely (not going above 70 kmph frequently). You cannot even imagine of having 50+ mileage for an 150 cc pulsar(45), unicorn (46), FZ(40), Fazer(40). And its not like they feed less oil to engine to boost up the mileage.
I reached a top speed of 122 kmph with out feeling any discomfort.even the highest speed is 118 kmph according to records. (I put my head a lil lower to improve aero dynamics).
5 And more: sitting comfort, digital odometer, 2 trip meters, instability (racing style) so easy to maneuver
Cons: if this is your 1st bike , u may find many things not as expected, but I can assure you every other bike will have those.
