Delhi to Chennai transport took 20 days. Fridge, almirah, washing machine were damaged, costing an 17K to repair. All cartons were damp/wet and spilling open. Many glasses, cups and other crockery were smashed. A watch collection was destroyed. Dressing mirror as broken.
Fortunately, we carried the most important things with us, so there was no irretrievable loss. Overall my financial loss due to poor packing and transport was equal to cost of transportation.
