My T610 - 2 Years Old. Review on Transcend T Sonic 610

Hi,

I love my Transcend T610 - 2 GB.

With so many new models in the market, I could nt let off my T610 as it serves the purpose pretty well.

Pros:

1. USB charging( Most Wanted - Cant look for a charger everytime)

2. OLED display(saves battery life - Bigger the display - Worser the Bat Life)

3. Light weight(hangs around my neck while travelling)

4. Firmware can be reloaded in-house.(got two virus attacks - solved myself)

Cons:

1. No playlist option.

2. Bit slow during start ups and navigation wise.(not a big issue thou')

Buying guide:

it is always better to get a player with smaller display.(MP3 players are meant for playing Music, no videos)

USB charging is very handy.

It is a NO-Frill MP3 player with GREAT music quality.

Reliable product. Two years on. Moderate usage. No issues so far. The earphones are working perfect. I switched to a new Philips earphones.

You can also get the latest T650 with Playlist option built-in. It is required.
