Got to learn a lot at weekend class at InterviewPrep.in Bangalore. When I got call from my dream company, Microsoft, I was too nervous about what to prepare and how to cover all the things required toclear the tech interview in just 4-5 days. I came to know about this weekend course from a friend of mine.
I thought of trying it once as the fee was quite nominal and it was very near to my place. They had divided the course into 4 sessions, First was Aptitude and Puzzles, There we discussed lot of puzzles and techniques to approach such problems. To my surprise, all the puzzles that were asked to me in the interview were either one of the discussed ones in the classroom or something very near to that.so I could easily get through the aptitude round. The other 3 sessions were: writing Code, Data Structures And algorithms and General interview questions.
In DS and algo session we together solved a lot of question on different DS.Linked List, trees hash maps etc.In the coding session they made us practice writing of code on paper for a lot of problems. All in all, they geared me for this interview within 2 days. I am very thankful to them for helping me to get a place in my dream job.
