Just two years back, i was undergoing the same pressures as you would be now, will I get through or not, lot of confusions????You all must be taking some kind of preparatory tests and your ranks would be of high concern!!!!!
Friends first and foremost, just be sure of yourself, time yourself, everyminute, everysecond....
The paper is divided into four parts, Quant, Data Interpretation, English usage and Reading comprehension.
1.In each preparatory test, try different combination(in which you will attempt the test..say DI first then EU and so on), then according to your comfort decide the best strategy to be followed in the final test.In my case it was DI followed by reading comprehension the quantative and finally english usage...what's URS????????????
2.Identify your strengths and leverage upon them.they will be different from the strong areas of your friends.Don't bother and don't try to imitate.
3.Just have an alternate plan in mind , that if not CAT then what.....it helps.i was in final year engineering and was very tensed about the exam, my scores were not good , infact at times I had all india rank below 400.but after I got recruited from the campus....my tensions level reduced as now I had an alternate option..and friends....that relaxation helped me to get through.
4.Its just a game of two hours, and your mental state in those two hours will decide your future....be confident and sure, nervousness can spoil can ruin it all.
Its not the end of the world.
