I recently had a look at the Thomson 5-in-1 at the Big Bazaar, Bangalore, India. Costing around Rs.5700.00 (approximately, after discount), I sincerely think that this product is worth buying as your personal stereo system. Great Styling, good sound quality and very easy to use. However, I felt that the quality of the plastic used is very poor - try changing the mode/radio band using the slide controls.
It handled all the functions quite well (handled the MP3 with grace) and I was happy to note that there is a good performer in the market when compared to a similar model of Sony CFD E 75 available in the Indian market.
I would definitely recommend this product as a good buy.
