Well this novel makes a pretty interesting read right from the prologue...The three friends are representatives of three basic passions in youngsters
govind..is all abt business
ish....crazy for cricket
omi....is confused...yet has a love for his religion
As u read the book u come across another character....ali a muslim and a cricketer. The author gets in the bhuj earthquake, 9/11, and the notorious godhara tragedy..Along with long description of indian cricket matches. Althuogh u would like to finish the book in one go as it is pretty interesting but there is nothing that makes it outstanding...u may not find it upto the mark to satisfy the critic in you..yet you read it for the melodrama it has....
For all those who have read it , I just want to know if there is actually someone like ISH who can go to the extent he did for the love of cricket....he was just crazily doing things for ali...well how hypothetical was this character is what I actually want to know..And if actually this novel is abt real life happening then I salute to this guy called ish in the novel. So read this novel its like ny of the day to day movies.....nice for your vacation
