The Resort, madh-marve is supposed to be a 5 star hotels. Maybe on papers, coz you won't see any stars or perhaps, less of 'em, when you actually land up in the hotel. The food has been priced damn expensive for what you get. You'll get wafers along, if you order burgers or sandwiches. No french fries. Buy a portion if you need for 100 bucks.
Also, being a apartment hotel, they can't even provide a bottle of wine in the midle of night. There is never lot of crowd to be seen in the hotel, still every food order will take atlest 35-40 mins. The staff is still better, but you can very well see, that the guys are not really maintaining the hotel properly, and it looks like the hotel is that from the Soviet Union in some parts.
The prices of the hotel rooms are down, only in the monsoon, and hence, it even looses on VFM package, that it's proud of promoting itself as.The only saving grace is the the beauty of Aksa beach, and the vicinity of Dana Pani beach, or the hidden beach as they call it..
