We visited on a saturday and all the maekets were set up outside along the street. Inside the ferry building the food market shops were open and all very busy.
It was a nice atmosphere and some yumy treats to he found. Best buy of the day: Alfieri Farms - peanut brittle with dark chocolate and sea salt. OMG delicious. the plethora of great shops and tasty foods.
The weekend high end farmer's market and just walking around, catching the vibes, watching random sea gulls doing their thing. Pike's Market in Seattle has nothing on the Ferry Building Marketplace . well no one's throwing fish but even the fish throwers admit, that's the worse thing you can do to fresh fish.
