A very, very, very convincing book is what I have to say about this one.
I am one of the busy people, whom Robert Frost would have wanted to ask-
''What is this life if full of care
You have no time to stand and stare...''
So reading a book completely hasn't been happening for a long time now.
But I got a peek into the Da Vinci Code preface on a website, borrowed the book from a colleague and well, got a deadline on it too- 1 week, 5 person days!!:)
Well, here I was-clutching an interesting book with just under a week's time and the only time I had to read was during my travel to and fro work!!! And yes, I met my deadline-finished the book in 4 days flat!!
The book is very difficult to put down and you keep thinking about it even when you are not reading it.
The research into some of the masterpieces(Mona Lisa, the Last Supper, etc.), the subtle points that we have missed etc. make it even more interesting.
You almost end up believing that the Holy Grail exists somewhere.
I also heard some junta describing some place in the whereabouts being modelled aka Louvre Pyramid...:)
Anyway, I am still waiting for another such interesting book to come my way..
Till then...I have miles to go before I sleep....
