Well people, I am an avid reader of novels, be it fact or fiction... altho nothing beats intrigue/suspense thriller......
this book by dan brown is a masterpiece if u r into the things mentioned above. He has done a lot of research to write this book which is evident by the no. of clues he has succeeded in assembling. what starts as a plot to frame a professor( langdon) and goes on to reveal/discuss a lot of christianity facts using existing clues of buildings and paintings is an irrestible delight..
I thought I would read the book in a few days ( since I had to kill some days ) but once I started to read it... I was so engrossed that I didnt leave the book one entire night...
The whole idea is not to have any opinion of your own... it should be read as a thriller... else it might present a conflict with your beliefs..
I had been to paris, seen the monalisa and the other paintings... but after reading the book, I got another chance to go there which was an enriching experience... I visited the paintings one again and then tried to map what Dan brown was trying to express through all the differnet paintings he mentions.
In fact the otehr places including the last mentioned one is an amazing treat to watch!!
For beginners who want to start off reading thrillers, the ideal book...
just waiting for the movie to be released!!!!
