Exciting, fast paced, relentless, a swashbuckling adventure that never let up. That's how I'd describe my visit to the toilet, by far the best part of my experience watching this movie. I've always enjoyed watching Christopher Nolan epics but for me, he really let himself down with this silly, overly complicated load of rubbish. As for the acting, Washington lacked any kind of personality or likeability while it was strange seeing Kenneth Branagh, a great Shakespearean actor known for delivering lines like "once more into the breach" and "to be or not to be", being reduced to delivering the line; "I enjoy watching a man I hate eat his own balls". The film seemed to be a series of ridiculous set pieces and scenes that explain why they need to do the upcoming set piece but you can't hear what they're saying because their voices are muffled by wearing masks or by really loud music. By the 5th or 6th explanation of an upcoming set piece about half way through, I just didn't care anymore, hence my visit to the toilet.
