Last year I filed my taxes using TaxSpanner and found them to be good. Assuming it will be the same or better, I submitted my tax returns using TaxSpanner. After having paid for their service, they are supposed to efile my ITR-V with income tax department within 24 hours.
My efiling status has been showing "Pending" for about a week now. No information on whether ITR2 has been e-filed with income tax website or not. No response in the phone line listed in their website (Bangalore office). No response to tons to emails sent to their help desk/support. Status is still the same and last date to file the returns is tomorrow. Such a poor service is not warranted from TaxSpanner. Even the Chat option available in their site is always "offline". Everything has been designed in such a way that you can never reach anyone from TaxSpanner, even for such a critical issue. They make a lot of noise about filing from mobile and by email, but cannot get the basics right.
