Their ideologies are like fairy tales most of which do not even hold true in this practical world. Though we come from similar educational backgrounds, we can bet that they are not even following waldorf standards properly. Parents are not stakeholders but just dumb listeners who have no say. Teachers think that parents are just some immature bunch of people who are incapable of raising their children and need only preaching. The school has proven to be painfully slow and very good at unlearning rather than learning. Moreover, the community lunch and snack is a headache for parents and there is no consideration for the fact that most of the mothers have no support and are working full time...they why such ideal fairytale expectation of them prepare food for the whole class; and on special occassions, where parents should be served, they bring food from home. In case of Tatva, alternate schooling seems to be just another name for money minting with big promises, and a system which is neither aligned with the reality nor with the standard education. I will never recommend this school to anyone even if you have plenty money to waste, pls dont waste the precious years of your child. "Mothers should be just mothers, dont try to teach kids leave that to us" - a teacher said this to us while preaching us how we are 'overdoing' the job of parenting.
And if they and their ideologies were doing their job so well, why my kid never wanted to go to school...every single morning, which surprisingly stopped after the school was changed.
