I am using Tata sky for past 15 months and I have never faced problems much. I got good reception as I never faced problem I could not say anything about their customer care. But I am quite satisfied with its service. Its main difficulty comes in rainy days when its starts raining or become cloudy it just could not get any signal.
Still I would say its service is good. They show in advertisement that you can have channels as per your choice that is just crap you could not choose much in it you have to buy whole package just to get your favorite channels.
