Unfortunately, few days ago I happened to get in a connection for Tata Sky in Hyderabad. I was very much impressed by the advertisements gimmicks from them. They said that after the payment, the installation would be done in 4 hours flat.
But, its almost 30 hours, they have not turned up. The catch is, they ask u to pay by Credit card and offer you a month's subscription free.
Its means that u get committed to them. Even if u think of cancellation, you end up paying the 2% which the bank charges on the credit card. The customer care always keeps the customers in dark. They never show you the clear picture regarding the engineers. I felt that the Tata Sky is being managed by their Engineers. Because they flatly refuse to visit the customers even after they are being asked by their concerned authorities. If such is the show, it wont take much time to wind up in this stiff competition market scenario.
