Decided to Tata Sky HD connection as it offer more channel (at least on the brochure).


I called up customer care (Mr. Prithvi) for offer and price quote. I was offered HD box and Annual grand package for 5823INR and duly paid the same through their mobile payment facility. As told by executive set-top box was installed within 48 hours.


When my set-top was activated, I was blunt shock to see that my annual package is already expired and service is deactivated. I have given complaint (no. 1-9243090721 on 18 Feb) through customer care and told I would be given call-back. God knows what it means. With no response from them, I have called up regarding my complaint on 21 Feb, I was given new complaint number 1-9300665096. I was only to realize that so called support is a sham, trained to give greetings.


Now a HD box dumped in my house for week with no connection while I have made payment for whole year. This can't go more ridiculous than this.


Consulting my lawyer on filing complaint on consumer court.
