I have been a customer of TATA SKY for the past 3 months and my experience has been good so far, I switched to TATA SKY for my local cable operator who was not providing good service.
Compared to local cable who offer a lot more channels for the same price TATA SKY is costly as we have to pay for every language packs which is not very consumer friendly for viewers who watch more than 2 languages.
for an example; I used to watch Kannada, English, Telugu, educational channels like NGC etc. and occasionally some Hindi channels, but now I can't as I would have to pay separately for all these individual channels which become very costly.
On the downside DTH would not work during rain and extreme weather.
