I’ve just bought Tata’s USB modem (sungil modem). It’s been three days. Trust me when I say this, Please do not buy this modem. It will take you 15-20 tries to connect to internet. And with any luck if you do get connected the connection is very slow. The Indicom dialer show five signal bar, so it’s not like I don’t have proper signal. On my complaint they did send a technician.
This so called technician carries no laptop, no data card or USB modem of his own so he can tell me what seems to be the problem. In fact what he tells me that this sungil modem is not a good deal. SO he leaves and is of no help. I called up Tata guys again. This time they promised me a senior technician who will carry his own laptop, and a modem. We’ll see. And for those who feel I’m wrong, please would you like to buy my modem. I got it on 10th of October. Will give you a good deal. Please say Tata to Tata Sungil Modem. (deepakinc@rediffmail.com)
