I am from chennai.i am having tata indicom broadband services for the last 3 years. I often face problems regarding network failure.since i sit on computer on all days being in stock market i decided to have hathway as alternate. Hathway has got their office in chennai and all complaints goes direct to eldam road office and they come and collect the cheque
From my residence for 3 months & issue reciept immediately.whereas i was renewing vsnl by credit card online.recently i have taken extra validity top up for 3 months for which i paid rs 785/ and subsequently taken super power 1250 pack for one month(extra validity on 6/9/08 and super power on 9/9/08) today being 9/10/08 my super power package with one month validity expired and though i got rs 140/ balance to my credit the login fails to accept since my package is over.i wonder what was the meaning of extra validity of 3 months i paid on 6/9/08 if i am not able to continue my rs 140/ balance.
When i call up the call centere (which is the most difficult task getting transfered from pillar to post) they are not able to clear my doubt but only says that extra validity is not valid. Today being vijayadasmi day i wondered whether i will get hathway and i called up and in half hour their man was on doors and changed my speed and collected for 4 months and vanished.
I wish tata communications to have this amount of rs 785 as charity(plus balance rs140) and goodbye to this most irresponsible service after #3 years on this vijayadasmi date.
No wonder tata communications is running on loss compared to bharathi airtel etc due poor communications and lacking to infuse confidence into customers by having area wise customer support or local access rather than diverting all calls to hyderabad who takes long time even to register a complaint
