Obsession with pan card
Called tata’s for an Internet connection
The company rep comes (has no identification that he’s from tata on him) came in 2 days later with the form, and me got all the paper work needed, my drivers license (address and photo Id), photos of me.
3 days later they called, oh the address we could not read properly could we have your pan card or passport or electric bill.
So I get the electric bill to them, and then another 3 days pass, again I get a call; we don’t like the way your photo looks. We don’t think it is clear, can we have your passport and pan card too. Hello, the same photo is on my passport, ration card, drivers license, so how can it be … anyway
At this point I am fairly sure that it is a scam that’s being run by the jokers, Like how can they not be able to call the RTO and verify the document, what verification are they running?
Beware people I am not so convinced that these guys are as innocent as they might seem.
Am I paranoid excessively? Maybe but I would think, if one has copy of my passport and license and electric bills and pan card, what’s too stop them from:
Opening an bank account in my name in a fictions manner carry our shady deals in my name … wonder if I have stumbled onto a scam, that the tatas are being a part of unknowingly.
