I used to have company provided broadband connection via Tata Indicom till last year. The service till that time was good both in terms of data transfer speed and the customer support. This prompted me to go for Tata Indicom when I had to purchase a broadband connection for my personal use. However I had no idea that their service had dropped down to deplorable levels. It took me 10 days from the date of payment to get the connection up and running and that too after numerous follow ups. Since then, the connection stablitiy has been poor with the connection dropping off every 4-5 days!!
The customer support is as hopeless as anyone can predict and they never have any update on whats going on with any problem.But then customer service for anything in India is pathetic. We are a nation of sellers.....we can sell anyhting and everyting to anyone but dont ask for after sales support!! High time we get customer laws in place a la Europe/US/APAC.
