I bought this car after going through all the options in diesel & petrol segment. I was looking for a big spacious car within my budget, giving good mileage.
I zeroed on wagon r & indica v2. Then after going through various rounds of dealers & other specifications. I decided to buy Indica V2.
The pros of this car are:
Its diesel & gives good average. So its cost efective.
Very spacious. You feel like sitting in a big car. My 6 feet tall friends are happy to sit in my car.
Stable & gives a feeling of security on the road.
Nice look, digital tachometer.
Foldable rear seats in 60:40 proportion.
I'm not very good at technical side. But yes it gives you a feeling of comfort & nil maintenance. People told me to be ready to spend some money on it after 1 year, but the taxi drivers who use it more says all you have to take is off coolant & oil thats it.
The cons of this car are:
My wife can't place the water bottle easily :). So this requires some modifications in the space provided around the gear handle.
I felt a kind of humming while all winows are up & AC running. I think that maybe because of the soud proofing.
I need to wait a bit more to find the technical faults.
If you want to go for a good diesel car go for Indica V2. Its a cost effective solution.
