I would say the experience of working in TCS is between below average and average for me. It can also turn out to be good for someone based on various factors such as - nature and culture of work in your specific project, cooperation from project managers, availability of conducive environment to get the project as per your career interests, etc. As per my experience, one comes very rarely across such good reviews for TCS. The reason for my review( i.e - below average to average) is that the general project work is very mundane and you won't get anything much to learn for the future, the work culture is marred by sycophancy and politics. In addition to that, I would say that switching to another is way favorable and easier than getting released from the project. Also, the RMG(people responsible for allocating your project) in the least care about your career aspirations. They treat you like a ball that they want to remove from their court as soon as possible.
