Tata Consultancy Services is one of the child organization of the GRAND conglomerate TATA.This organization is like the bread winner for the TATA group being the highest revenue earner. Its a good company to start with only if you are from Non IT background. Clearly stating , at present, this company is not for the people aspiring to get more hands on the programming. Freshers are not given ample opportunities to grow. Apart from this, you will get a salary based on the industry standards. From the growth perspective, 4-7% is the rate. One of the benifit of joining this company is the job security. Yes there is job security in TCS. Work environment is also good but depends upon the place where you are working like Mumbai , Pune , Delhi etc. Also Ceo is doing a great work to take this org. forward. The outgoing CEO has really done some great work to get this organization on track whether it is engaging some new technologies into the company or getting the business from outside of India.
