I had been to Munnar with my wife and two other couples (Relatives & friends) and stayed at The Tall Trees in a 1 luxury & 1 Deluxe Rooms. We stayed there for 2 whole days and if time permitted would have extended by a week.
We arrived at The Tall Trees on the 24th of May 2008 (Peak Summer). I will just describe my experience in brief points.
Excellent Climate surrounded by the Best of Nature ( A thin Fog crossing u, Greenery everywhere, Birds singing, the smell of nature)
The construction of all the facilities at the resort have been splendid without destuction of Nature.
The ambience of the Restaurant(GlassTop) was excellent.
The Food was really excellent for Veg and Non-Veg.
The Service was the BEST I have experienced till date. I felt embarrassed to give Rs1000/- as tips as I still feel the Service was priceless.
The facilities like kids Play Area, Recreation center with TT/Carroms/Chess/Shuttle, etc, Adventure sports(Though it was closed at that time), the Ayurvedic Massage center.
Go with a travel agent like Makemytrip.com, Peacock Holidays which will trun out cheaper, else the actual prices range from 8000 to 20000 per day per room.
