I purchased this cooler last April because it came with a remote, it was small, had wheels and a big 26 litre capacity to hold water. It worked fine last year. This year, after a few weeks of use in April and May, it stopped working. I checked the bill and saw that 1 year warranty just, really just expired. I don't believe it is my bad luck.
The service guy mentions that this is a frequent problem with symphony air coolers and I have to pay now Rs. 1000+ to get the electronic chip repaired. And there is no more guarantee on the new chip. which means I have to shell out some more money if it breaks down again. **DON'T PURCHASE SYMPHONY PRODUCTS.** Go for Kenstar or better brands. If possible avoid buying something which has electronic chips inside them (most of the time the air coolers with remote).
This company doesn't possess the tech to provide standard quality chip inside the unit. Neither does it provide a longer warranty. My experience with Symphony products will end here.
