Swades: We The INDIANS... Review on Swades

I found Swades a brilliantly made film with a message. I found it much better than Lagaan and simplicity is it?s beauty. This is film is a treat for SRK fans, who got fed up with Johars and Chopras ?feelgood? films. Hats off to SRK for delivering a atypical performance. Besides Musafir this a another mindblowing example of Indian film-making.

Those sitting in air-conditioned offices and apartments will never realize problems on grassroots level. Exactly that mentality fired back on BJP in recent elections. ?Swades? truly makes us realize about biggest and overlooked community called rural Indians. I am sure ?Swades? will carry the right message for NRIs.

Only flaw is, this film would have been more interesting without songs.

Finally, I must say that Taran Adarsh is having some personal problems. It seems that he goes to watch films with disturbed mind and that?s what reflects in some of his recent reviews. Mr. Adarsh, thanks for trashing a honest effort made by Ashutosh Gowarikar. It is once again proved that it is the Indians who ruthlessly underrate other?s efforts.

Whatever, I would rate it as a masterpiece. Highly recommended.
