A colossal statue located on the Narmada river in Kevadia. It is a popular tourist attraction and is visited by tourists. This statue was built in 2013 and measures 182 metres in height. It is dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and is divided into 5 zones. The museum is on the first zone. The viewing gallery is on the third zone where one can view the Sardar Sarovar Dam and the surrounding area. One has to book tickets online a week in advance. There is no booking upfront. It is open from 8 am to 6 pm and is closed on Mondays. One can visit other tourist attractions located nearby. I admired this statue from outside the main entrance gate. An ideal place for families, friends and tourists as well. It is a must visit and should not be missed.
