Disclaimer: This following review is based on my personal experience...I was one of the account holders at SBI in our local branch in H.P. I used services for some years and in december 2008, the staff member misbehaved with me.

When I approached the Manager, he did not take any action, so I was forced to write to the higher authorities. I would like to point out that none of the staff at the bank wears an ID card for identification by the customers and I was repeatedly asked for the name of the person who misbehaved.

When I gave them the details about window number, time and date, the manager said his bank does not maintain any records. They did not take any action in the matter. The same thing happened in January 2009 and he asked me for the name, I went back to the person and requested him to tell me his name but he wouldn't respond to my requests.

I was forced to take a picture of the person with my phone, that was where I made a mistake. When I showed the picture to the manager, he said the guy was new at the bank. When I complained with the higher authorities, the bank started blackmailing me that I did an offense by taking the picture inside a bank and that they will press charges against me for planning burglary.

I do not understand if they do not co-operate the customers in identifying the person, how dooes a defend himself? So I had to withdraw my complaint. I have vowed that I will never use their services again.
