State Bank Of India which is well known as SBI is one of the worst banks. I am a student and live away from my home so I use ATM card frequently. I opened an account in SBI because there is a sbi branch available in my college campus. First, when I went to bank for opening a new account they were not any helpful and didn't accept my account opening applications. Reason of this was just a live in another area and than the bank is. I was like WTF! My mom, dad have account in this branch and for any little thing my dad have go to another branch. What is problem with opening account in that branch. It will be more convenient for my dad to do transfers in same branch than going to 2 different branches. After arguing for 20-25 mins they agreed. This was their welcome treatment.
After this, once I lost my ATM card so I blocked it and applied for new. This thing is the nightmare. I have already applied for ATM card almost 5 to 6 times but everytime. It is rejected every single time. At the first, they don't give f* ck about whatever my problem is. It's my problem. After that I talked to manager, he told me that he don't know why it is not going in process. I was literally like why are you manager of this bank madafaka. Why!
I would suggest everysingle person on earth that they shouldn't even consider SBI as an bank option or you can do things like Vijay Malya.
