Stardust is an Indian monthly Bollywood news and gossip magazine published in English and Hindi. It also sponsors the Stardust Awards.
The magazine is published by Mumbai-based Magna Publishing Co. Ltd. and was started by Nari Hira in 1971. It became popular under the editorship of noted journalist, author and columnist, Shobhaa De.
The magazine is full of gossips and rumors and they stress less on the film news and more on whats happening in a actor\actress personal life and that really bugs me. Stardust people cook up stories and write them without enough proof or reasons, and sometimes there are such baseless stories that it makes me laugh.
I have also noticed that they tend to write negative articles on actors who don’t give interviews for their magazines.
