Due to demonetization, I had to use the card more often as compared to previous months/years. Taking advantage of this, Standard Chartered started "inserting" amounts such as Rs 2000 and Rs 1000 into the bill. This month I was looted brazenly of Rs 4000, when I complained on their FB page, they had some people call me. But the billing was fixed in such a way that I couldn't understand anything. For instance, 3 days back, my outstanding was Rs 7400( appr.) and I was expecting another bill of Rs 748. The final outstanding wouldn't have been more than Rs 8200, but, lo and behold, now I see an outstanding of Rs 9600 out of blue. I have decided to discontinue the card. I request people to discontinue their cards as well.
