St. Marys island is a nice place to visit. Its in Udupi and 60km from Mangalore. Its a no mans island and its only for tourist. There is no night stay facility. One have to take boat from Malpe beach which cost Rs 200 per adult and Rs 100 for child. The journey from Malpe to St. Marys is itself a joyful ride. St. Marys island is an island with three types of seasore. At one end it has sands, another end has rocks and another end has shells. A nice place to visit during Oct to March whene temperature is moderate.
