One of the jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva has lot of mythological and historical value
It is one of the rare hindu pilgrimage where both shiva and shakti is said to reside
Its about 420 kms from Hyderabad and the roads are broad and mostly traffic free. There are large hoardings in every 10-15 kms which makes the route easy to locate
One can ho driving or book a car which will cost around 3500 to 4000
The temple is deep inside the forest so everyone has to be careful as one has to cross the forest although there are security personel but one must not get out of the vehicle in forest
The temple is in a vast area the place is not much devoloped so local sweets and some flower is availabe there are different lines like free line, Rs 50 ticket, 100 or 500 which is the fastest and also 2 ghee ladoo are given as prasad along with the ticket
There is no proper place to stay as all are goverment lodge and mostly booked. No hygenic and good food is available
Inside temple noone is allowed to touch or see closely except one who has paid for avishekh for which one has to book early morning or late evening
Arti timings and bhog are not properly mentioned so person going for 1st time is confused
