Hi, a new lost cost airline with a decent aircraft - SPICEJET. Surprisingly the crew are efficient and the aircrafts are good boeing 737-300s.
The ticketing procedure is good - web based and we have the option of changing our travel dates for a nominal fee.
The only minus point being that they serve nothing but cookies and a glass of water in the flight irrespective of the duration - Well well..this is a budget airline for the budget traveller.
The surprising fact is that you are allowed to carry your own food on the aircraft - something unheard of ..atleast by me...so all you wannabe fliers..kindly carry your food on this flight or prepared to be starved for the entire duration..and mind you they just give you THREE cookies..I mean 3 pieces and not packets,,with a 200ml bottle of water..So thats it ..the airline for the masses of our country. I hope they continue to survive the competetion.
I was mighty happy that the airline did not cancel the flight..[I had travelled while the IAAI staff were on strike] and we had an uneventful flight but for minor delays..
