I travelled between Chennai-Bagdogra on May 16/23rd, both times the flight was on time, they were neat/clean and on the return managed to get some coffee/cookies for Rs 20 as well, on my onward flight they didnt have any coffee/tea, just some expensive sandwiches.
The checkin counter at Bagdogra was crowded, took me 35 mins to checkin, two counters for 2 full flights departing at the same time! Also they was no bus to the aircraft, we had to walk from the airport terminal to aircraft in 40 centigrade sun! Dont know whether its an issue with AAI or Spicejet...either way it was painful.
They need to keep their fares reasonable and ensure that they are on time.In a recent DGCA survey Spice has come in 6th on timeliness, they must set a target of top 3 and try to achieve it this year.
