I've been a frequent flyer and recently I was shifting from Pune to Delhi. I had a lot of excess luggage and for most of it I paid initially at the time of booking. During check-in at the airport my luggage was 8 Kg extra. I've traveled with Indigo and AirAsia and mostly all other airlines. Despite their extra baggage policies they give discounts on baggage fee and many times wave them off if the baggage is upto 5 kgs extra. But with Spicejet, first the staff was very firm and charged me for every single Kg without giving any wave offs and wasn't helpful or welcoming at all. It was the first and last time I traveled with Spicejet.
