Have travelled on spicejet a few time and exept for the usual problem of not maintaining the time, didnt really face any problems. There was nothing too bad or too good to write a review about them.
But recently I booked return tickets for my wife's parents (Delhi-Mum-Del). Since they are senior citizens and were travelling alone, I checked with the airline and was informed me that they do have a "Meet & Assist" service. It being a low cost airline, I wasnt too sure what kind of service they would provide but still booked for it. There are no extra charges for that.
I was pleasantly surprised with the kind of efficient and courteous service they provided to them during check-in as well as after landing. The girl(s) accompanying them made them comfortable and helped them throughout till they left the airport. We were really delighted with the service provided by them. Finally services in India are coming off age and people are learning to take care of senior citizens
